Meet your new doula! Laura Anne Maturo is originally from the northeast, but has lived in Hawaii, New York and San Diego, CA. She's been a doula since 2015, although she attended many births before being formally trained. Originally trained through DONA, she has also received training through the UCSD Hearts and Hands program as well as through StillBirthday, where she certified. Laura specializes in post traumatic birth support and parents expecting a loss. Laura is also recognized as a StillBirthday Purple Daisy Doula, the highest award given by her certifying board.
Laura draws upon her training as well as her experience as a CNA and a mother. She has one daughter at home. Her best tools are her hands - she uses massage to help her clients relax, as well as guided breathing. Laura's attended Bradley Method and Hypnobirthing courses and loves getting the partner involved in the birthing process.
Currently, Laura is attending Vermont Technical College Brattleboro for her LPN and ADN and eventually her BSN.
Laura loves to help with childbirth education, and is constantly learning more to better serve her clients.

Kylie relies on her training, her past experience as a caregiver, and her experiences as a mother. She has 3 daughters at home. She loves using oils at births as well as gentle touches. She is very calm and can adapt easily to whatever situation may arise.
Kylie has great experience with birthing people who do not plan on having a partner around during birth. She also excels in helping foster spiritual guidance during labor and delivery.
